A warm welcome to you and your family from ActivEO!

ActivEO is a self-help group for home educators. The name is derived from “Active in Education Otherwise than at school”. Launched in 1998, ActivEO offers a monthly newsletter with weekly events for group members home educating in the Chichester, Bognor Regis, Havant, Portsmouth and Petersfield areas.

The strength of ActivEO is its members. ActivEO families think up, research, organise and provide a diverse range of stimulating social and educational activities for our children.  These can range from a meet up in the park to more structured sessions.  Each family is expected to organise at least one event a year – there is plenty of support and advice available to help new members.

Potential members receive the ActivEO monthly newsletter and are encouraged to attend at least one event from the Events List, to see if ActivEO is the group for them, before becoming full members.
